■ Screw propane
bottle into
regulator hand
tight. (Fig. 8)
■ Remove
protective cap
from top of
propane cylinder.
Save cap for use
in storing.

■ Check and clean the burner/fuel
tubes for insects and insect nests.

Leak Check
• Perform leak test outdoors.
• Extinguish all open flames.
• NEVER leak test when smoking.
• Do not use the outdoor grill until
connection has been leak tested and
does not leak.
WARNING
■ Never operate
grill with propane
cylinder in an
inverted position.

■ Proper location of the burner with
respect to the orice is important.
To verify the proper installation of
the burner tube, remove the cooking
surface and the cooktop. The burner
tube, fuel tube, and orice (on the
regulator) should be positioned as
shown in Fig. 10.
■ Turn off regulator
valve. (Fig. 5)
■ Install grease pan into position below
the grill from the rear side. (Fig. 4)
■ Install the cooking surface. (Fig. 3)
■ Screw regulator into grill hand tight.
