Quick Start Guide
Please read these operating instructions carefully and observe the
safety instructions.
Intended use:
Cololight is a modular, freely pluggable LED lighting system which can be
remote controlled via smartphone and active WIFI connection. The
manufacturer or dealer accepts no liability for damage caused by improper
or incorrect use.

Danger for children:
This product is not suitable for children under 3 years of age. Children
under the age of 14 must use this product under parental supervision.
Keep packaging material, foil bags and accessories away from
children. The device is not a toy! There is a risk of suocation and
swallowing.
1. Assembly
Connect the main controller with the USB
charging cable to a light module. The
locking mechanism must be open (the slot
faces towards the open lock) and then
carefully pushed onto the back of the
module. The lock can then be carefully
xed and closed with a cent coin.
Now insert the module into the socket.
2. USB Connection
Now connect the USB charging cable of the base station to a suitable USB
power supply (ideally with more than 2A output power). If you are unsure,
please contact our customer service.
3. Control Manually
On the back of the base station there is a touch-sensitive touch button with
which you can manually control the light.
4. Control by Smartphone App
For a much more comprehensive control please use our Smartphone App
for Apple iOS and Android. Just visit the App Store or Google Play Store and
search for "Cololight."

5. WIFI Information
Please note that Cololight only supports a 2.4Ghz WIFI connection. 5Ghz
networks cannot be connected. If you have any problems or questions
regarding this topic, please contact our customer service or an IT specialist.

You can then connect further light
modules (if available) to the base station.
Use the supplied connectors for this
purpose. One side of the plug must
always be plugged into the inner socket
of a double socket. The other side of the
plug may only be plugged into an outer
socket. There must be no distance
between the single modules once
connected.
6. Warranty Information
All Cololight products come with a 12-month warranty on technical defects. A
normal use according to the intended purpose is assumed. Keep the proof of
purchase for a warranty claim. Not covered by warranty: Items without proof of
purchase, items with defective housing or damage, items that have been
exposed to liquids, dirt or contamination, and items that have minor defects or
deviations from the product specication that do not aect the value or function
of the product.
7. Disposal Instructions
Products that are marked with the adjacent symbol may not be disposed of as
unsorted municipal waste (domestic waste). They should be disposed of through
separate collection of electric and electronic devices. This product and its
packaging are manufactured from materials that can be recycled by specialist
recycling companies.
These may be used for privately used products only in accordance with WEEE
Directive 2012/19/EU.
Safety instructions:
• The lamp may only be connected to a USB socket such as at PC or USB
mains charger using the attached USB charging cable.
• If the cable, luminaire or plug are damaged, the luminaire must not be
operated.
• The LEDs inside the modules are xed and cannot be replaced.
• Clean the lamp only when it is switched o and without usage of water.
• Do not open the device or repair it yourself.
• Protect the lamp from splash water, moisture, excessive cold and heat!
• Do not make any changes to the lamp.
• Only use the lamp indoors.
• Disconnect the lamp from the socket when not in use.
• Connect the modules only with original plug connectors and when
switched o!
• Make sure that the modules are fastened in such a way that they cannot
injure anyone.
• Do not place any heavy objects on top of the modules.
• Do not operate the product unattended.
• Only operate the modules in well-ventilated rooms.
