OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMARK C9500 SERIES PRESSURE METERS GENERAL INFORMATION WARNING INPUT HOSES SHOULD NOT BE DISCONNECTED FROM THE INSTRUMENT WHILST CONTAINING GASES WHICH ARE DANGEROUS AND/OR UNDER PRESSURE. DO NOT APPLY PRESSURES BEYOND THE OVER RANGE MAXIMUM FOR THE INSTRUMENT OR DAMAGE MAY OCCUR. REFER TO SECTION 3 — CONNECTION TO PRESSURE SOURCES BEFORE OPERATING THE INSTRUMENT. CALIBRATION, CERTIFICATION AND SERVICE No. 0451 Certification Comark can provide certificates of calibration for its whole product range, to suit ISO 9000 and other quality assurance procedures, food hygiene regulations, HACCPs and environmental regulations. Comark certificates are produced by independent quality controlled processes which compare product performance against agreed National Standards. For peace of mind and best practice Comark recommend annual certification/recalibration.

2. KEY FUNCTIONS 2.1 ON/OFF Key Press once to switch on the instrument. Repeat to switch off. Holding down the key when switching on will display the maximum pressure range of the instrument in PSI. Holding down the key when switching off will display all segments as a test. 2.2 ZERO Key Press to zero the current readings on the display to nullify any offsets caused by large temperature variations.
2.6 RECORD Key Press once to put the instrument into record mode. This will be indicated by the word RECORD on the display. Maximum and minimum pressure readings can be stored and displayed while the instrument is in record mode. When the instrument is in record mode, press key once to display the current maximum reading and press again to display the current minimum reading. Pressing the key a third time will return the display to normal measurement.
3. CONNECTION TO PRESSURE SOURCES The C9500 Series instruments are fitted with 1 /8" BSP female connectors. The following checks must be made before connecting the instrument to a pressure source:Check the security of all fittings. Check that the pressure source does not exceed the ratings for the instrument as set out in Table 1. Check that the gases to be measured will not damage or corrode stainless steel, brass, glass, ceramic, silicon, nickel, aluminium, gold or epoxy resin.
4. OTHER FUNCTIONS 4.1 Battery Low Low battery is indicated by the symbol BAT on the display. Replace the battery as soon as possible after this symbol appears. 4.2 Over Range Pressure If the pressure measured (either positive or negative pressure) exceeds the full scale of the instrument, the display will show – – – – If this occurs the pressure must be reduced to avoid damage to the sensor in the instrument. 4.
4.5 Battery Replacement Unscrew the two screws at the base of the instrument and slide off the battery cover. Replace the battery with a 9V PP3 type battery. Replace the battery cover taking care not to over tighten the two screws. 4.6 Use with Pressure Test Kit The C9500 series instruments can be used together with the optional TK2 pressure test kit as a low cost calibration system for checking or calibrating other pressure instruments.

KALIBRIERUNG, ZERTIFIZIERUNG UND SERVICE No. 0451 Zertifizierung Comark kann Kalibrierzertifikate für die gesamte Produktpalette bereitstellen, die für ISO 9000 und andere Qualitätssicherungsverfahren sowie für Lebensmittelhygieneverordnungen, HACCPs und Umweltverordnungen gültig sind. Zertifikate von Comark werden in unabhängigen, qualitätskontrollierten Verfahren erstellt, die die Produkteigenschaften mit den jeweiligen nationalen Normen vergleichen.

2. TASTENFUNKTIONEN 2.1 Taste EIN/AUS (ON/OFF) Einmal drücken, um das Gerät einzuschalten. Durch erneutes Drücken wird das Gerät wieder ausgeschaltet. Wird die Taste beim Einschalten gedrückt, erscheint auf der Anzeige der max. Druckbereich des Geräts in PSI. Wird die Taste beim Ausschalten gedrückt, werden alle Display-segmente aktiviert (Displaytest). 2.
2.5 Taste FILTER (FILT) Diese Taste drücken, um unbeständige Meßwerte zu filtern. In Betriebsart Filtern berechnet das Gerät den Durchschnitt der in den letzten 4 s aufgenommenen Meßwerte (16 Meßwerte), um eine stabile Anzeige zu erreichen. Ein erneutes Drücken der Taste leitet wieder den normalen Betrieb ein. 2.6 Taste AUFZEICHNEN (REC) Durch einmaliges Drücken auf diese Taste wird die Betriebsart Aufzeichnen des Geräts gewählt, die durch die Meldung REC auf der Anzeige erkannt wird.
3. ANSCHLUSS AN DEN DRUCKGEBER Die Geräte der Baureihe C9500 sind mit einer 1 /8" BSP Innenverschraubung versehen. Vor dem Anschluß des Geräts an einen Druckgeber sind die nachstehenden Prüfungen durchzuführen: Alle Armaturen auf festen Sitz prüfen. Prüfen, daß der Druckgeber nicht die in Tabelle 1 genannten max. Druckwerte für das Gerät überschreitet.
4. WEITERE FUNKTIONEN 4.1 Niedriger Ladezustand der Batterie Das Symbol BAT auf der Anzeige läßt den niedrigen Ladezustand der Batterie erkennen. Nach Erscheinen dieses Symbols ist die Batterie sobald wie möglich auszutauschen. 4.2 Druck außerhalb des Bereichs Wenn der gemessene Druck (Über- oder Unterdruck) den Bereich des Geräts überschreitet, lautet die Anzeige - - - -. In diesem Fall ist der Druck zu vermindern, um eine Beschädigung des Druckfühlers im Gerät zu vermeiden. 4.
Differenzialdruck: Beim Messen von Differenzialdruckwerten muss der höchste positive Druck (+ve) auf den positiven Anschluss (+ve) angewandt werden. 4.5 Batterieaustausch Die beiden Schrauben in der Grundplatte des Geräts abschrauben und den Batteriedeckel abschieben. Die Batterie durch eine neue vom Typ 9V PP3 6F22 ersetzen. Den Batteriedeckel wieder aufschieben und die beiden Schrauben nicht übermäßig anziehen. 4.
4.7 22 Silikon-Ausführung Geräte der Baureihe C9500 sind zwar allgemein für die Messung von Gas-/Luftdruck vorgesehen, jedoch stehen Spezialausführungen zur Verfügung, mit denen der Druck von Flüssigkeiten gemessen werden kann, ohne daß der Sensor korrodiert.

ETALONNAGE, HOMOLOGATION, ET ENTRETIEN No. 0451 Homologation Le laboratoire Comark fournit des certificats d'étalonnage pour l'ensemble de sa gamme de produits, en vue de satisfaire à la norme ISO 9000, à d'autres procédures d'assurance qualité, aux réglementations en matière d'hygiène alimentaire et d'environnement ainsi qu'aux HACCP. Les certificats Comark sont délivrés à l'issue de contrôles de la qualité indépendants qui comparent la performance d'un produit envers celle d'une norme nationale convenue.

2. TOUCHES DE FONCTION 2.1 Touche ON/OFF Appuyez une fois sur le bouton ON/OFF pour mettre l’appareil en marche. Appuyez de nouveau pour l’arrêter. Le maintien de la touche lors de la mise en marche permet d’afficher la plage de pression maximale de l’appareil en PSI. Le maintien de la touche lors de l’arrêt permet d’afficher tous les segments comme un essai. 2.
2.5 Touche FILTER Appuyez sur cette touche pour filtrer les lectures instables. En mode filter, l’appareil fera la moyenne des lectures prises au cours des 4 dernières secondes (16 relevés) pour assurer une meilleure stabilité de la lecture à l’affichage. Appuyez de nouveau sur cette touche pour reprendre normalement les mesures. 2.6 Touche RECORD Appuyez une seule fois pour mettre l’appareil en mode record. Le symbole RECORD apparaîtra à l’affichage pour indiquer ce mode.
3. RACCORDEMENT A UN RESERVOIR SOUS PRESSION Les appareils de la Série C9500 sont dotés de prises femelles BSP d’1/8 ème de pouce. Les contrôles suivants doivent être effectués avant de raccorder l’appareil à un réservoir sous pression: Vérifiez la sûreté de tous les raccords. Vérifiez que le réservoir sous pression ne dépasse pas les valeurs nominales de l’appareil, indiquées dans le tableau 1.
4. AUTRES FONCTIONS 4.1 Pile Faible L’état de pile faible est indiqué par le symbole BAT à l’affichage. Remplacez la pile dès que possible, à l’apparition de ce symbole. 4.2 Dépassement de Pression Si la pression mesurée (pression positive ou négative) dépasse la valeur d’échelle maximale de l’appareil, l’affichage indique – – – – Si cela se produit, vous devez réduire la pression pour éviter d’endommager le capteur de l’appareil. 4.
4.5 Remplacement de la Pile Dévissez les deux vis à la base de l’appareil et faites glisser le couvercle de la pile. Remplacez la pile qui doit être de type 9V PP3 6F22. Replacez le couvercle en veillant à ne pas trop serrer les deux vis. 4.

TARATURA, CERTIFICAZIONE E MANUTENZIONE No. 0451 Certificazione La Comark può fornire, per tutta la sua gamma di prodotti, i certificati di taratura conformi alle procedure di controllo della qualità ISO 9000 e altri, per le norme d'igiene alimentare, per sistemi HACCP e per le norme ambientali. 2. FUNZIONI DEI TASTI 2.1 Tasto ON/OFF Premere una volta per accendere lo strumento. Ripremere per spegnerlo. Per visualizzare il massimo campo di pressione dello strumento in PSI, mantenere premuto il tasto al momento dell’accensione. Mantenendo premuto il tasto di spegnimento, verrà effettuato un test, mostrando tutti i segmenti del visualizzatore. 2.2 Tasto ZERO Premere per azzerare la visualizzazione e annullare gli eventuali sfalsamenti causati dalle variazioni di temperatura.
2.6 Tasto RECORD Premere una volta il tasto per selezionare la modalità RECORD, indicata dalla scritta RECORD che appare sul visualizzatore. La modalità consente di memorizzare e visualizzare le letture massime e minime. Nella modalità RECORD basta premere una volta il tasto per visualizzare il valore massimo attualmente misurato e ripremerlo per visualizzare il valore minimo. Per riprendere la misurazione normale basta premere una terza volta lo stesso tasto.
3. COLLEGAMENTO CON ALTRE FONTI DI PRESSIONE La serie di strumenti C9500 dispone di connettori femmina BSP da 1/8". Effettuare i seguenti controlli prima di collegare lo strumento con altre fonti di pressione: Verificare l’integrità di tutti gli accessori. Verificare che la fonte di pressione non superi la massima pressione indicata per lo strumento nella Tabella 1.
4. ALTRE FUNZIONI 4.1 Esaurimento Batteria L’esaurimento della batteria è indicato dalla scritta BAT che appare sul visualizzatore. Quando appare questa scritta conviene sostituire non appena possibile la batteria. 4.
4.5 Sostituzione della Batteria Svitare le due viti sulla base dello strumento e togliere il coperchio facendolo scorrere. Sostituire la batteria con una batteria tipo PP3 6F22 da 9V. Richiudere il coperchio facendo attenzione a non stringere troppo le due viti. 4.6 Utilizzo con Kit di Taratura La serie di manometri C9500 può essere utilizzata con il kit di taratura TK2. Il sistema di calibrazione può controllare e calibrare a basso costo, altri strumenti di pressione.

2. FUNCIONES DE LAS TECLAS 2.1 Tecla ON/OFF Pulsar la tecla una vez para encender el instrumento. Repita la operación para apagarlo. Manteniendo pulsada la tecla cuando enciende el instrumento visualiza el rango máximo de presión del instrumento en psi (libras por pulgada cuadrada). Manteniendo pulsada la tecla cuando apaga el instrumento visualiza todos los segmentos como una prueba. 2.
2.5 Tecla FILTER (FILTRAR) Se pulsa para filtrar lecturas transitorias. En la modalidad FILTER, el instrumento toma el promedio de las lecturas tomadas durante los 4 últimos segundos (16 lecturas) para visualizar una lectura más estable. Se pulsa nuevamente la tecla para retornar a la medición normal. 2.6 Tecla RECORD (REGISTRAR) Se pulsa una vez para poner el instrumento en modo para registrar. Esto se confirma con la palabra RECORD que aparece en la visualización.
3. CONEXION A FUENTES DE PRESION La Serie C9500 de instrumentos está equipado con conectores hembra de 1/8 pulgada BSP. Se deben realizar las siguientes verificaciones antes de conectar el instrumento a una fuente de presión: Verificar que todas las conexiones estén seguras. Verificar que la fuente de presión no exceda los rangos del instrumento indicados en la Tabla 1.
4. OTRAS FUNCIONES 4.1 Batería Descargada El símbolo BAT aparece en la visualización cuando la pila está muy descargada. Sustituir la pila lo antes posible después de que aparece el símbolo. 4.2 Presión Fuera de Escala La visualización presentará - - - - si la presión que se mide (sea positiva o negativa) excede la escala total del instrumento. Si esto ocurre, se debe reducir la presión para evitar averiar el sensor del instrumento. 4.
4.5 Sustitución de pila Destornillar los dos tornillos situados en la base del instrumento y deslizar la tapa de la pila. Sustituir la pila con una de 9V tipo PP3 6F22. Reponer la tapa de la batería, teniendo cuidado de no apretar los dos tornillos excesivamente. 4.6 Funcionamiento con el Kit de Pruebas La serie C9500 puede utilizarse con el kit opcional de pruebas TK2, como un sistema económica de calibración o comprobación de otros instrumentos de presión.
