• Setup network – Allocate Fixed IP address. Setup Modem details if applicable. Account
details for e-mails (www.textmagic.co.uk
) and options for sending e-mails.
• Setup E-mails – Setup up to 12 individual e-mail accounts for alarm indications. Also setup
whether any of the 12 receive SMS messages.
• Audit Trail – Full history of use of the system and record of all major changes or alterations
to system setup.
• Transmitters – Add/Remove transmitters from the system. Edit their properties. Setup
transmitter to be back-bone or not, disable display, remove transmitter, allocate transmitter to
location and set radio rate.
• Hardware – View hardware status and test alarm outputs.
• Update Firmware – send global firmware update to all transmitters registered to the system.
Home Screen
The main user screen is the Home screen. This provides a clear and quick summary of the transmitters
on a per user basis. Information provided includes, Last/Max/Min/Avg reading for each channel, graph
of current data since midnight, transmitter description and channel description, indication of current
alarm status, i.e. current alarm, unacknowledged alarm, acknowledged alarm,. The graphical summary
is optional.
• My Preference Button
Accessed from the Home Screen, ‘My Preference’ allows each user to set his/her own
preferences for the displayed information on the ‘Home Screen’.
This screen page also allows the user to create filters based on a number of criteria for
faultfinding etc.
These include; listing transmitters by type (Thermistor/Pt100/RH)
Ability to list transmitters in a number of various states by tick box (any number of
tick boxes can be selected). These include with/without task/data/signal/fault/in
alarm/unacknowledged alarm/signal.
It is also possible to pre-select or deselect transmitters by locations, displaying only the
required transmitters.
• Show Summary Button
From the Home page it is also possible to show a summary option to display the current status
of all the transmitters. The summary clearly indicates the general condition of each of the
transmitters, by the following criteria…. OK, No Signal, No Data, Unacknowledged Alarm,
Tasking or Command.
Transmitter Summary Screen with Graph
Upon clicking on the graph on the Home screen or the Task Description the system will take you to
the transmitter summary screen. Here the current status of the transmitter with a more detailed graph is
shown. From here it is possible to start and stop logging, edit the Task, toggle between viewing the
data in Graphical and Tabular format, and viewing the events for today.
