5. Setting call management
It is necessary to set the type of system (Simplebus,
Simplebus Top or ViP) and then the call mode (Standard,
Indirect code, Immotec standard or Immotec indirect).
Type of system:
CAUTION:for correct operation depending on the type
of system installed, it is necessary to set the porter
module to the same mode.
SIMPLEBUS (default) for systems without switching
devices Art. 1424 in Top 1, 2, 3 mode (see FT SB 21,
page 6) which dene the system zones.
SIMPLEBUS TOP for systems with switching devices
Art. 1424 in Top 1, 2, 3 mode (see FT SB 21, page 6)
which dene the system zones.
Module Art. 3360B in Simplebus Top mode must be
used in conjunction with compatible products (see table
“Simplebus Top products”, page 34).
VIP for ViP systems.
Call mode:
STANDARD - SIMPLEBUS (default)
In this mode, the user is identied by a Name eld and a
Code eld no longer than 3 digits (between 1 and 240).
Example:
User name= Mario Rossi
Code= 2
STANDARD - SIMPLEBUS TOP
In this mode, the user is identied by the Name eld
(optional) and a Code eld consisting of two parts:
zone eld with no more than 3 digits (between 1 and
500)
user eld which must have 3 digits (between 1 and 240):
Example:
User name= Mario Rossi
Code= 25 015
STANDARD - VIP
In this mode the user is identied by a 8-character
alphanumeric ViP address.
CAUTION: If you wish to make direct calls from the
alphanumeric keypad, the ViP code can only be
composed of the following characters: numbers 0,
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9; letters A, B, C, D, E, F.
Example:
User name= Mario Rossi
Code= 0A0C1156
To cancel the second language function:
1A. set the main language again (see “Setting the
language” page 4); the second language will be reset
automatically

Settings ⇒ Second language
