2. Using the directory via software Art. 1249B
CAUTION: connection to the PC is via USB; ensure that
the drivers have been installed, see page 28.
1. connect the cable attached to Art. 1249B to the USB
connector on the rear of the directory module
2. access programming mode, see page 6
3. select the menu items:
Settings ⇒ Type of download ⇒ USB

4. the messages "Found new hardware Art. 3360B" and
"New hardware installation wizard" appear on the PC
5. follow the instructions of the installation wizard through
to completion
CAUTION: select the Drivers folder located in the Art.
1249B installation folder.
It is possible to use a RS485 network to connect multiple
Art. 3360B to the same PC with software Art. 1249B
installed.
Each module must have a different ID CODE (RS485
address), see page 18.
1. connect cables of RS485 serial line to terminals
485D+/485D- on Art. 3360B (see diagram page 35).
2. access programming mode, see page 6
3. select the menu items:
Settings ⇒ Type of download ⇒ RS485
3. Multidownload
4. run software Art. 1249B
5. run the download procedure and wait until it is completed
CAUTION: the selected call mode must match the one
congured on module Art. 3360B, see page 47.
CAUTION: make sure in "Parameters conguration" on
Art. 1249B that the correct communication port is selected.

4. run software Art. 1249B
5. run the download procedure and wait until it is completed
CAUTION: the selected call mode must match the one
congured on module Art. 3360B, see page 13.
CAUTION: make sure in "Parameters conguration" on
Art. 1249B that the correct communication port is selected.
