CLEANING THE TANK
Put 1/2 teaspoon of chlorine bleach and 1/2 gallon of water in the tank. Let
solution set for about 20 minutes swishing every few minutes. Empty the tank and
rinse well with water until the bleach odor is gone. Be careful not to splash the
solution on surfaces/clothing that may get damaged by the cleaning solution. Do
not operate the humidifier with the chlorine bleach solution in the tank.
CLEANING THE TRAY
From time to time mineral deposits will accumulate in and on the water basin.
When this occurs, the water basin should be cleaned.
END OF SEASON CARE AND STORAGE
Empty the tank and tray of water. Clean all surfaces with a damp, soft cloth.
When completely dry, store the humidifier in its original carton, in a cool, dry,
clean location. Remember to clean and inspect your humidifier before using it the
next season.
