Common Troubleshooting Methods

•Plug the power cord

outlet, turn on the power

•There is no water in the
water tank
•The Mist Control Dial is not
turned up
•The water level float cap is
not down releasing water
•Fill up the water tank
•Turn Mist Control Dial
clockwise
•Confirm the water tank
spring float cap is not stuck
Indicator is
illuminated with
no air or no fog
•The water level in the
water bath is too high
•Remove some water in the
unit’s water basin
•Screw down the water tank
spring float cap
Reduced mist
output
•There is scale formation on
the transducer
•The water is dirty or has
been stored too long
•Clean the water basin and
inlets
•Replace with clean water
