System Customizations
The following section details customizations of your SoundPoint IP 650 phone
that are performed by your system administrator.
Supporting Multiple Lines
Your SoundPoint IP 650 phone can support up to 34 lines with or without a
SoundPoint IP Backlit Expansion Module. For more information, refer to
Using the SoundPoint
®
IP Backlit Expansion Module on page 5-1.
Typically, the top-most Line Key is reserved for the principal directory
number (DN) of the phone.
Depending on how your administrator sets up your phone, the display could
resemble one of the following figures:
• One line, 3163
• Two lines, 3161 and 3163
