Surface Mount Phone Jack

Installation

1. For non-modular conversions, remove all

connections down to the main wire and

remove 1/2 of the foam insulation from

the color wire leads.

2. Gently pry the cover off at the notches on

the side with a small screwdriver.

3. Loosen the screws (1) on the block and

connect each of the color-coded phone

wires to the corresponding color wire

terminal on the block. For example,

connect green to green, yellow to yellow,

red to red, and black to black. Retighten

the screws (1) to secure the wire

connections together.

4. Secure the wiring block to the wall

receptacle using screws (AA) or foam

tape (not included). Then snap the jack

cover back into place over the wiring

block.
