Broadcast
The network operator sends broadcast messages to all users in a
certain area. Please contact your network operator for more
details on whether they provide this service.
1. Read
This allows you to read the last broadcast message received. The
phone stores this last message only when it is switched on.
2. Filter
This allows you to select the type of cell broadcast messages you
want to receive. The filter menu contains a list of codes for CB
type of messages, which are defined by the network service.
All
Receive all broadcast messages.
None
Receive no messages.
List
List all the channels in which you want the messages to be
received. Depended on different broadcast area, the number of
the channel will be different. By pressing the
, you can
access selection menu to add or delete.
3. Auto Display
This allows you to switch the auto display function on/off. When
the function is set on, broadcast messages will be automatically
displayed. Scroll
to view the messages. Pressing OK
or NO allows you to exit. Broadcast messages automatically
disappear after a short period of time.
(Note: The function requires the support by telecom service
provider. Contact you telecom service provider if you want to use
this service.)
