UltraNavpointingdeviceproblems
•Problem:Thepointerdriftswhenthecomputeristurnedonorafteritresumesnormaloperation.
Solution:ThepointermightdriftwhenyouarenotusingtheTrackPointpointingdeviceduringnormal
operation.ThisisanormalcharacteristicoftheTrackPointpointingdeviceandisnotadefect.Pointer
driftingmightoccurforseveralsecondsunderthefollowingconditions:
–Whenthecomputeristurnedon
–Whenthecomputerresumesnormaloperation
–WhentheTrackPointpointingdeviceiskeptpressedforalongtime
–Whenthetemperaturechanges
•Problem:TheTrackPointpointingdeviceortouchpaddoesnotwork.
Solution:EnsurethattheTrackPointpointingdeviceortouchpadisenabledintheUltraNavDevice
Settingwindow.

1.Movethecursortothetop-rightorbottom-rightcornerofthescreentodisplaythecharms.Click

Keyboardproblems
•Problem:Allorsomekeysonthekeyboarddonotwork.
Solution:Ifanexternalnumerickeypadisconnected:
1.Turnoffthecomputer.
2.Removetheexternalnumerickeypad.
3.Turnonthecomputerandtryusingthekeyboardagain.
Ifthekeyboardproblemisresolved,carefullyreconnecttheexternalnumerickeypadandtheexternal
keyboard.Ensurethatyouhaveseatedtheconnectorscorrectly.
Iftheproblempersists,ensurethatthecorrectdevicedriverisinstalled.
1.Movethecursortothetop-rightorbottom-rightcornerofthescreentodisplaythecharms.Click
Settings➙ControlPanel.
2.SelectLargeiconsorSmalliconsview.
3.ClickKeyboard➙Hardware.
4.EnsurethattheDevicestatusisThisdeviceisworkingproperly.
Ifkeysonthekeyboardstilldonotwork,havethecomputerserviced.
•Problem:Allorsomekeysontheexternalnumerickeypaddonotwork.
Solution:Ensurethattheexternalnumerickeypadiscorrectlyconnectedtothecomputer.
