Lenovoencouragesyoutomakeefcientuseofenergyanintegralpartofyourday-to-dayoperations.To
helpinthisendeavor,Lenovohaspresetthefollowingpower-managementfeaturestotakeeffectwhenyour
computerhasbeeninactiveforaspeciedlengthoftime:
Powerplan:EnergySaver(settingswhenpluggedintoacpower)
•Turnoffthedisplay:After10minutes
•Putthecomputerintosleep:After20minutes
•Advancedpowersettings:
–Turnoffharddisks:After15minutes
–Hibernate:Never
Toawakenyourcomputerfromsleepmode,presstheFnkeyonyourkeyboard.Formoreinformationabout
thesesettings,seetheWindowsHelpandSupportinformationonyourcomputer.
TheWakeonLANfunctionisenabledwhenyourLenovocomputerisshippedfromthefactory,andthe
settingremainsvalidevenwhenthecomputerisinsleepmode.IfyoudonotneedtohaveWakeonLAN
enabledwhileyourcomputerisinsleepmode,youcanreducethepowerconsumptionandprolongthe
timeinsleepmode,bydisablingthesettingofWakeonLANforsleepmode.Todisablethesettingof
WakeonLANforsleepmode,dothefollowing:
1.Movethecursortothetop-rightorbottom-rightcornerofthescreentodisplaythecharms.Click
Settings➙ControlPanel.
2.ClickHardwareandSound➙DeviceManager➙Networkadapters.
3.Right-clickthenetworkadapterdeviceyouwanttocongure,andclickProperties.
