Thedevicedriversareavailableathttp://www.lenovo.com/Drivers.Clickyourcomputerproductname

Attention:Alwaysgotohttp://www.lenovo.com/Driversforthelatestdevicedrivers.Donotdownload
themfromtheWindowsUpdateWebsite.
ThinkPadSetup
YourcomputercomeswiththeThinkPadSetupprogramtoenableyoutoselectvarioussetupparameters.
TostartThinkPadSetup,dothefollowing:
1.Turnonthecomputer.Whenthelogoscreenisdisplayed,presstheF1key.theThinkPadSetup
programmainmenuopens.
Ifyouhavesetasupervisorpassword,theThinkPadSetupprogrammainmenuwillbedisplayed
afteryouenterthepassword.YoucanstartThinkPadSetupbypressingEnterinsteadofenteringthe
supervisorpassword.However,youcannotchangetheparametersthatareprotectedbythesupervisor
password.Formoreinformation,referto“Usingpasswords”onpage37.
2.Usethecursorkeystomovetoanitemthatyouwanttochange.Whentheitemishighlighted,press
Enter.Asubmenuisdisplayed.
3.Changetheitemsyouwanttochange.Tochangethevalueofanitem,pressthe+or–key.Iftheitem
hasasubmenu,youcandisplayitbypressingEnter.
4.PressEsctoexitfromthesubmenu.
5.Ifyouareonanestedsubmenu,pressEscrepeatedlyuntilyoureachtheThinkPadSetupprogram
mainmenu.
6.SelectRestart.Movethecursortotheoptionyouwanttorestartyourcomputer;thenpressEnter.
Yourcomputerrestarts.
Ifyouneedtorestorethesettingstotheoriginalstateasofthetimeofpurchase,pressFn+F9toload
thedefaultsettings.YoualsocanselectanoptionontheRestartsubmenutoloadthedefaultsettings
ordiscardthechanges.
Note:YoucannotrestorethesettingsundertheSecuritymenubypressingFn+F9.
