4.Whenthelogoscreenisdisplayed,pressF1.TheThinkPadSetupprogrammainmenuopens.
5.SelectSecurity,usingthecursordirectionalkeystomovedownthemenu.

8.IntheEnterNewPasswordeld,typeadesiredpassword,andpressEnter.
9.IntheConrmNewPasswordeld,retypethepasswordandpressEnter.

Ifauserharddiskpasswordhasbeenset,butnomasterharddiskpasswordhasbeen,theusermustenter
theuserharddiskpasswordinordertogainaccesstolesandapplicationsontheharddiskdrive.
