towardthesmartcardreader.Insertthecardintothesmartcardreader
asshown.
Attention:
•Beforehandlingthesmartcard,touchametaltableoragrounded
metalobject.Otherwisethecardmightgetdamagedbythestatic
electricityfromyourbody.
•Duringthedatatransfer,donotputyourtabletintosleepor
hibernationmode;otherwise,yourdatacouldgetdamaged.
Toenabletheplug-and-playfeature:
1.GotoControlPanel.
2.TapHardwareandSound.
3.TapDeviceManager.Ifyouarepromptedforanadministratorpasswordorconfirmation,typethe
passwordorprovideconfirmation.
4.FromtheActionmenu,tapAddlegacyhardware.TheAddHardwareWizardstarts.
5.Followtheinstructionsonthescreen.
Toremoveasmartcard:
TapandholdtheSafelyRemoveHardwareandEjectMediaiconin
theWindowsnotificationareaandselectthesmartcardthatyouwant
toremove.Pullthecardalittlebitoutwardfirst.Thenslidethecard
completelyoutoftheslotasshown.
Usingthefingerprintreader
Dependingonthemodel,yourtabletmighthaveafingerprintreader.Withfingerprintauthentication,youcan
logontoyourtabletbyswipingyourfingerprintsinsteadofenteringthepassword.
Enrollingyourfingerprints
Toenablefingerprintauthentication,enrollyourfingerprintsfirstbydoingthefollowing:
1.Swipeinfromtherightedgeofthescreentodisplaythecharms.
2.TapSettings➙ChangePCsettings➙Accounts➙Sign-inoptions.
3.IntheFingerprintsection,tapAdd.The“Addafingerprinttothisaccount”windowisdisplayed.
