1.Turnoffyourcomputeranddisconnecttheacpoweradapterandallcablesfromthecomputer.
2.Disablethebuilt-inbattery.See“Disablingthebuilt-inbattery”onpage123.
3.Closethecomputerdisplayandturnthecomputerover.
4.Removethebasecoverassembly.See“Replacingthebasecoverassembly”onpage128.
5.Openthelatchesonbothsidesofthememoryslotatthesametime1,andthenremovethememory
module
2.Savetheremovedmemorymoduleforfutureuse.
6.Placethenotchedendofthenewmemorymoduletowardthecontactedgesideofthememoryslot.
Theninsertthememorymodule1intotheslotatanangleofabout20degrees.Pivotthememory
moduledownwarduntilitsnapsintoplace
2.Ensurethatthememorymoduleisfirmlyinstalledin
theslotandcannotbemovedeasily.
Attention:Donottouchthecontactedgeofthememorymodule.Otherwisethememorymodule
mightgetdamaged.
7.Reinstallthebasecoverassembly.See“Replacingthebasecoverassembly”onpage128.
8.Turnthecomputeroveragain.Connecttheacpoweradapterandallcablestothecomputer.
