Whenthecameraisstarted,thegreencamera-in-useindicatorturnson.
Youalsocanusetheintegratedcamerawithotherprogramsthatprovidefeaturessuchasphotographing,
videocapturing,andvideoconferencing.Tousetheintegratedcamerawithotherprograms,openoneofthe
programsandstartthephotographing,videocapturing,orvideoconferencingfunction.Then,thecamera
willstartautomaticallyandthegreencamera-in-useindicatorwillturnon.Formoreinformationaboutusing
thecamerawithaprogram,refertothehelpinformationsystemoftheprogram.
Configuringcamerasettings
Youcanconfigurethecamerasettingstomeetyourneeds,suchasadjustingthequalityofthevideooutput.
Toconfigurethecamerasettings,dothefollowing:
•ForWindows7:StarttheCommunicationsUtilityprogramandconfigurethecamerasettingsasdesired.
•ForWindows10:Dooneofthefollowing:
–OpentheCameraapp,clickthesettingsiconintheupper-rightcorner.Followtheinstructionsonthe
screentoconfigurethecamerasettingsasdesired.
–ClickLenovoSettingsfromtheStartmenu.ThenclickCamera.Followtheinstructionsonthe
screentoconfigurethecamerasettingsasdesired.
Usingasmartcard
Dependingonthemodel,yourcomputermightcomewithasmartcardreader.
Thissectionprovidesinformationaboutthesupportedsmartcardtypeandinstructionsonhowtoinstall
orremoveasmartcard.Formoreinformationaboutusingthesmartcard,refertothedocumentation
thatcamewiththesmartcard.

Thesmartcardreader(ifavailableonyourcomputer)onlysupportsthesmartcardofthefollowing
