ConnectingtotheThinkPadWiGigDock
ToconnectyourcomputertotheThinkPadWiGigdock,dothefollowing:
1.Afterthesetupandpreparation,turnonyourcomputerandthedock.Thendothefollowing:
•ForWindows7:StarttheWirelessDockManagerprogram.Forinstructionsonhowtostartthe
WirelessDockManagerprogram,see“AccessingLenovoprograms”onpage12.
•ForWindows10:ClicktheactioncentericonintheWindowsnotificationarea.ClickConnect.
2.Selectyourdockfromthelistofavailabledevices.
3.Whenprompted,pressthepower/connectionbuttononthedocktoconfirmthepairing.
4.Followtheinstructionsonthescreentocompletetheconnection.
Afterestablishingtheinitialconnection,youcanmakeconfigurationssothatwheneverthecomputercomes
withintherequiredrange,itautomaticallygetsconnectedtothedock.
DisconnectingfromtheThinkPadWiGigDock
TodisconnectyourcomputerfromtheThinkPadWiGigDock,dothefollowing:

openthedevicelist.
2.LocatetheThinkPadWiGigDockandclickDisconnect.
3.Holddownthepowerbuttononthedockforseveralsecondsuntilthedockisturnedoff.
ManagingtheThinkPadWiGigDock
TheWirelessDockManagerprogramenablesyoutomanagethedock.Youcanchangethenameofthe
dock,changetheradiochanneltooptimizethesignalstrength,andsetapasswordtomanagethedock
settings.
