Traveltipsonairplanes
Ifyoucarryyourcomputerintoanairplane,takenoteofthefollowingtips:
•Ifyouintendtouseyourcomputerorwirelessservices(suchasInternetandBluetooth),checkwiththe
airlineforrestrictionsandavailabilityofservicesbeforeboardingtheairplane.Iftherearerestrictions
ontheuseofcomputerswithwirelessfeaturesontheairplane,youmustabidebythoserestrictions.If
necessary,enabletheAirplanemodebeforeboarding.IntheAirplanemode,allwirelessfeaturesare
disabled.ToenabletheAirplanemodeintheWindows10operatingsystem,dothefollowing:
1.OpentheStartmenu.
2.ClickSettings.IfSettingsisnotdisplayed,clickAllappstodisplayallprograms.
3.ClickSettings➙Network&Internet➙Airplanemode.
4.TurnontheAirplanemode
•Becarefulabouttheseatinfrontofyouonairplanes.Angleyourcomputerdisplaysothatitdoesnotget
caughtwhenthepersoninfrontofyouleansback.
•Whentakingoff,remembertoturnoffyourcomputerorputitintohibernationmode.
