Solving Hard Disk Problems

Check the diskette drive to see if

ou have a diskette in the
drive. When drive activit

stops, remove the diskette and
press the Spacebar to continue the startup process.
If a diskette is not in the drive, the s

ed. To repair the s

stem files, complete the

steps:
a. Insert the startup diskette that
y
ou have created for
y
our operatin
g

y
stem in the diskette drive.
b. Press and hold down the Power
button until

our
Notebook shuts down.
c. Press the Power
button to restart
y
our Notebook.
d. At the A:\ prompt, t

pe SYS C: and press the Enter

SYSTEM TRANSFERRED. This operation restores
