Solving CD-ROM Problems
If you encounter CD-ROM problems, refer to the common causes and
solutions listed in the following table or to the documentation that came
with the optional CD-ROM.

Solving CD-ROM Problems
Problem Cause Solution
System will not boot
from CD-ROM drive.
The CD-ROM boot is not
enabled through the Computer
Setup utility.
Run the Computer Setup
utility and set the drive
priorities.
CD-ROM devices are
not detected, driver is
not loaded.
CD-ROM drive is not
connected properly or is not
properly terminated.
Refer to the documentation
that came with the CD-
ROM.
Solving Software Problems
Most software problems occur as a result of the following:
The application was not installed correctly.
Memory was not allocated correctly.
There is a conflict between applications.
