6.8 MultiBay/PC Card Assembly
(Armada MiniStation EX only)
The MultiBay/PC Card Assembly provides the Armada MiniStation EX with a
MultiBay, a battery charging bay, and two PC Card slots. MultiBay devices supported
by the computer and ArmadaStation can be used in the Armada MiniStation EX.
CAUTION:
Be careful when removing and installing the MultiBay/PC Card assembly. The
assembly includes a multiple-pin connector that must be connected to the module
assembly. Firm, even pressure must be applied to connect the MultiBay/PC Card
assembly to the module assembly.
Failure to exercise caution when removing and installing the MultiBay/PC Card assembly
can result in damage to the connectors on the docking module and MultiBay/PC Card
assemblies.
To remove the MultiBay/PC Card assembly, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the Armada MiniStation EX for disassembly (Section 6.3).
2. Turn the Armada MiniStation EX upside down.
