Translating Event Codes
Use the following steps to translate the event codes in the fault-management reports
for spontaneous events and failures:
1. Connect a PC or a local terminal to the controller’s maintenance port.
2. Start FMU with the following command:
RUN FMU
3. Show one or more of the entries with the following command:
DESCRIBE code_type code#
where code_type is one of those listed in Table 4–6 and code# is the alpha-
numeric value displayed in the entry. The code types marked with an asterisk (*)
require multiple code numbers.
