Mouse Properties Setting
GSet the Mouse Pointer speed to the middle setting.
GSet Mouse Pointer Acceleration to low or disable the pointer
acceleration.
■ The speed of the remote console depends on the processing power of the
client machine. Use a 400 MHz or faster client with 64 MB or more of
memory.
■ Use a single processor client. Remote Console’s Java applet tends to
execute more slowly on multiprocessor workstations.
The following browsers are supported:
■ Microsoft Internet Explorer
GMinimum: Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01 (version 4.72.2106.8 or
newer) for Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0 and
Windows 2000.
GRecommended: Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or later
IMPORTANT: Internet Explorer 4.01 requires service pack 3 on Windows NT 4.0.
■ Netscape
GMinimum: Netscape Communicator 4.08
GRecommended: Netscape Communicator 4.76 or later
NOTE: Netscape Communicator 6 is not supported.
Additional browsers, or the browsers mentioned, used with different operating
systems, may or may not work correctly, depending upon their specific
implementations of the required browser technologies.
