To prevent not expertise persons changing the printer setup parameters, it is possible to lock/unlock
the access to the printer setups as follows:
• Press
ON LINE, MACRO
and
ALTERNATE
keys at the same time and keep them pressed while
powering the printer on. As soon as these keys are released, the following messages will be
displayed:
10200
then,
LOCKED MENU
Now the access to the printer setups is locked. If the
PROGRAM
key is pressed, the LOCKED MENU
message is displayed (the
PROGRAM
key is disabled).
• If you decide to unlock the printer setup, turn the printer off, then press the
ON LINE, MACRO
and
ALTERNATE
keys at the same time and keep them pressed while powering the printer on
again. As soon as these keys are released, the following messages will be displayed:
10200
then,
UNLOCKED MENU
