4 3 Remote-Pager : 2WSHR/LED Safety Information Please take these safety precautions under the following conditions: 1. Servicing the vehicle When servicing (i.e. changing the oil, washing your car) your automobile, the Compustar system should be in Valet Mode. There is a safety shutdown switch under the hood that deactivates the remote starter function if the hood is open.
5 6 It a button is pressed, the LED Icon will be flashed rapidly. Also, if the signal was sent successfully, the remote will beep and the LED icon will flash. If the signal fails, the remote will beep rapidly. Query( + 2 Sec) : When This function is activated, if any of the doors are still open, the Icon will be shown on the remote transmitter Query( + 2 Sec) : If the engine is still running, shown on the remote.
7 8 Note : If you lose your remote after you have armed the vehicle, use your key to open the vehicle. The siren will go off. Turn on and off ignition 5 times with your key to shut off the siren and turn the system into valet mode. Cancel the valet mode with remote later. See Valet mode. Note : (Siren duration is 30 to 60 sec depending on the options set at the time of initial installation.) Trunk Release Press the button for 2 seconds in order to unlock and release your trunk door.
9 10 Valet Mode OPTIONAL PROGRAMMABLE FEATURES The only feature that operates in valet mode is the keyless entry function. These additional programmable features can be programmed to the Compustar system by your authorized CompuStar dealer. Valet Mode is very useful when loaning your vehicle or having it serviced. In order to enter Valet mode, press Buttons ( + ) simultaneously for a 1/2 second.
11 OPTIONAL INSTALLTURES The Compustar 2WSHR LED remote-pager has additional features and expansion possibilities that require additional parts and labor. Optional Auxiliary 1 & Auxiliary 2 The auxiliary system is an optional car feature that can be tailored for your vehicle by your local authorized Compustar dealership. For example, you can customize your car to have remote power control of your windows, radio, and sunroof in addition to the rooftop on your convertible car.
