2-12 Basic Analyzer Operations
Space
• Inserts a space into alphanumeric text.
• When a strip chart is displayed, toggles amplitude zoom mode.
• Pressing the Alt/Space (Alt/0) key advances to additional Laser Fix-
ture Status and Error code information under Laser Head Status
(ProAlign Plus program only.)
• When the alignment data is displayed under View Data, pressing the
Space key toggles the top reading between zero and the raw data.
(Laser Alignment program only.)
• Pressing the Alt/Space (Alt/0) key under Alignment Data before ini-
tializing the laser heads resends the last set of alignment data stored
in the heads.
Mark
• Provides Special Functions when displaying spectra with the cursor
on screen
(required with the Analyze program) . Pressing the key the first
time more precisely locates the frequency and amplitude of the peak.
Pressing the key the second time places boxes at multiples of the
located peak.
Expand (Exp)
• Expands the horizontal scale of a spectral or waveform plot.
• Pressing the Alt/Exp key replaces the bar graphs with numbers and
visa-versa under Laser Head Status
(Laser Alignment program only.)
Decrease (Dec)
• Decreases the horizontal scale of a spectral or waveform plot.
Selecting Menu Items
For menus that do not contain entry fields, two methods can be used to
select the desired function:
• The first method is to use the analyzer’s up/down arrow keys to high-
light the desired function, then press the Enter key.
