Operating instructions
for the key-cabinet
with electronic-lock
modell KeyTronic
!! Attention: Please read this operating instruc-
tion carefully, before you operate the lock or
you try to tailor a new combination of numbers.
We do not undertake any liability for functional
disorder because of faulty switch over or use of
violence or improper use and neither for dam-
age nor for loss of property which could be put
down i.e. to the not proper closing of the safe.
GENERAL
Any button-activity is confirmed by a flashing
of the yellow LED and a brief tone. The maxi-
mum distance between 2 activities may not
be more then 20 seconds otherwise the for-
mer entering is deleted.
1. OPENING THE ELECTRONICAL-
LOCK AFTER DELIVERY
1.1 Remove the plastic lid below the door-
handle.
1.2 Insert the emergency-key and turn the key
to the right.
1.3 By turning the doorhandle to the right, the ^
cabinet will open.
1.4 Turn the key back in its original position and
take the key out.
1.5 Open the plastic lid on the inside of the
door to insert the batteries.
1.6 Insert the 4 1,5 VV AA batteries in the
correct manner.
2. PROGRAMMING A NEW SECRET
CODE
Out of security reasons we strongly advise you
to programm your personal secret code, before
you start using the key-cabinet. Start with writ-
ing down the proposed code. Never use codes
like your birthday, ZIP-code etc.Keep the per-
sonal code, together with the emergency-key, in
a safe place, but never store it within the key-
cabinet!
Open key-cabinet as described in 1.
2.1 Push the red button on the inside of the
door.
2.2 Two brief tones will be emitted and the
yellow LED will flash. You will have
20 seconds to start programming the per
sonal code.
2.3 Enter your personal code (min. 3 digits and
a max. of 6 digits), and confirm by pushing
the “START” button.
2.4 After you have confirmed your code, two
brief tones will be emitted and the yellow
LED will switch off.
2.5 You have now succesfully programmed your
personal code.
3. OPENING OF THE KEY-CABINET
3.1 Enter your personal code and confirm by
pushing the “START” button.
3.2 The green LED will be on and now you have
5 seconds to open the door.
3.3 Open the door by turning the door-handle to
the right.
4. DELAY TIME AFTER AN
INCORRECT ENTRY
In the incorrect secret code is entered, a signal
tone (3) will be emitted and the yellow LED will
light up. You still habe two further attempts to
enter the correct secret code. If you enter the
incorrect code more than three times, the incor-
rect entry delay time will start. During this time
the lock will not react to any entries for a period
of twenty seconds.
5. EMERGENCY OPENING
In case you have lost and/or forgotten your
personal code, or wenn the batteries are
empty, please proceed as follows:
5.1 Remove the plastic lid below the door-
handle.
5.2 Insert the emergency-key and turn the key
to the right.
5.3 By turning the doorhandle to the right, the
cabinet will open.
6. CHANGING THE BATTERY
Open the plastic lid on the inside of the door to
insert the batteries.
Insert the 4 1,5 VV AA batteries in the correct
manner.
ATTENTION: We strongly advise you to use
alkaline batteries.
