1. Use close supervision when the appliance
is used by, on, or near children or individuals
with certain disabilities.
2. Use appliance only for its intended
use as described in this manual. Only
use attachments recommended by the
manufacturer.
3. Never operate the appliance if it is not
working properly, has been dropped or
damaged, or dropped into water. Return the
appliance to a Conair Service Center for
examination and repair.
4. Do not use the appliance with teeth missing
from the blades, as injury may result. Before
each use, make certain the blades are aligned
properly.

grade of battery most suitable for the
intended use.
2. Replace all batteries of a set at the same
time.
3. Clean the battery contacts and also those
of the device prior to battery installation with
regard to polarity (+ and -).
4. Remove batteries from equipment that is
not to be used for an extended period of time.
5. Remove used batteries promptly.
6. Store unused batteries in their original
packaging, away from metal objects that
could short-circuit them. Never short-circuit
batteries.
7. Never dispose of batteries in fire, except
under conditions of controlled incineration.
Failure to observe this precaution may result
in an explosion. Never attempt to recharge
primary batteries as this may cause leakage,
fire, or explosion.
8. Do not mix old and new batteries.
9. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-
zinc), or rechargeable (nickel cadmium or
nickel metal hydride) batteries.
Trimmer requires 2 AAA batteries (not
included). We recommend using alkaline
batteries in your trimmer as they last longer.
If you are not going to use your trimmer for
a long period of time or if the batteries are
dead, remove them from the unit as this will
increase the life of your trimmer.

FOR USE
TAKING CARE OF YOUR TRIMMER
OILING THE BLADES
About once a month you should oil the
trimmer blades. It is best to do this over a
piece of newspaper. Turn the trimmer on and
hold it so that the blades are pointed
downward. Spread two drops of oil across the
blades, then turn the trimmer off and wipe
away the excess oil with a soft cloth.
Be careful not to use too much oil and don’t
oil your trimmer more than necessary, as this
could damage the motor. (Never attempt to oil
the motor bearing, as it is permanently
lubricated.) KEEP OIL OUT OF REACH OF
CHILDREN
PREPARATION FOR USE
Always inspect the trimmer before use to
ensure the cutting head is free from hair and
debris and is running smoothly.
USING THE COMB GUIDE
The comb guide allows you to change the
cutting length of your trimmer. You’ll need to
experiment to find your preferred length, but
as a guide, 0.4mm will give you very short
stubble; 1.6mm will give you a longer stubble
look, and 2mm will give you a short beard.
• Ensure the comb guide is correctly
positioned by pushing the comb guide gently
downward to secure into place.
• Use the manual adjustment wheel with
numbered length settings.
• The cutting lengths are in “mm” on the
manual control wheel. There are 24 length
settings available: 0.4mm, 0.6, 0.8, 1.0, 1.2,
1.4, 1.6, 1.8, 2.0, 2.2, 2.4, 2.6, 2.8, 3.0, 3.2,
3.4, 3.6, 3.8, 4.0, 4.2, 4.4, 4.6, 4.8, 5.0mm.
• Push the power button to switch the
trimmer on and begin to trim.
USING THE TRIMMER WITHOUT THE
COMB GUIDE
• Using the trimmer without the comb guide
is ideal for detailing/shaping and general
tidying up of edges, sideburns, neck, etc.
• To detach the comb
guide, gently hold the
trimmer in one hand
and with your thumb
and index finger, push
up on each side of the
comb guide (Fig. 1).
Flip the comb guide to
the back of the unit
and lock it into position
by clicking it securely
onto the fastener on
the back of the handle
(Fig. 2).
• Switch the trimmer on by sliding the ‘‘power
on’’ button up.
• If you are looking for an ultra-close finish,
you can use the trimmer without the comb
guide. This will give you an extremely short
cut.
IMPORTANT: Please note when using the
trimmer without the comb guide, the cutting
length will be below 0.4mm. The length
setting shown on the center wheel window
will no longer be relevant when the comb
guide is detached.

cuales podrían provocar un cortocircuito.
Nunca cortocircuite las pilas.
7. Nunca tire las pilas al fuego, excepto
mediante incineración controlada; esto podría
causar una explosión. Nunca intente cargar
una pila no recargable. Esto podría presentar
un riesgo de pérdida de electrolito, incendio
o explosión.
8. No junte pilas nuevas con pilas usadas.
9. No junte pilas alcalinas con pilas regulares
(carbono-zinc) o pilas recargables (NiCd
o NiMH).
La recortadora requiere 2 pilas AAA (no
incluidas). Le aconsejamos que utilice pilas
alcalinas, las cuales son más duraderas.
Retire la(s) pila(s) al final de su vida útil o
si no va a usar el aparato durante un largo
período de tiempo; esto prolongará la vida de
su aparato.

MANTENIMIENTO DE SU
CORTADORA
LUBRICACIÓN
Lubrique las cuchillas aproximadamente una
vez al mes. Para no ensuciar, haga esto
encima de un periódico. Sostenga el aparato
al revés y enciéndalo. Coloque una gota de
aceite sobre las cuchillas, apague el aparato
y limpie el exceso de aceite con un paño
suave.
No use demasiado aceite y no lubrique el
aparato más de lo necesario; esto podría
dañar el motor. Tampoco intente lubricar las
piezas del motor, las cuales están lubricadas
de por vida. MANTENGA EL ACEITE FUERA
DEL ALCANCE DE LOS NIÑOS.
PREPARACIÓN
Revise el aparato antes de cada uso para
asegurarse de que el cabezal esté libre de
recortes y que el aparato funcione debidamente.
UTILIZACIÓN DE LA GUÍA
La guía permite ajustar la longitud de corte.
Será necesario experimentar con ella hasta
familiarizarse con las distintas longitudes
para barba de varios días (desde 0.4 mm
hasta 1.6 mm) y para barba corta (2 mm+).
• Asegúrese de que la guía esté debidamente
instalada, presionándola suavemente hasta
que encaje.
• Ajuste la longitud de corte al nivel deseado,
girando el disco de ajuste de longitud de
corte.
• Los ajustes indicados sobre el disco son en
"mm". El aparato ofrece 24 opciones:
0.4 mm, 0.6 mm, 0.8 mm, 1.0 mm, 1.2 mm,
1.4 mm, 1.6 mm, 1.8 mm, 2.0 mm, 2.2 mm,
2.4 mm, 2.6 mm, 2.8 mm, 3.0 mm, 3.2 mm,
3.4 mm, 3.6 mm, 3.8 mm, 4.0 mm, 4.2 mm,
4.4 mm, 4.6 mm, 4.8 mm, 5.0 mm.
• Presione el botón de encendido para
encender el aparato y empezar a cortar.
UTILIZACIÓN DE LA CORTADORA
SIN LA GUÍA
• Puede usar a cortadora
sin la guía para dar
forma a la barba y dar el
acabado final a la barba,
las patillas, el cabello en
la nuca, etc.
• Sostenga la cortadora
con una mano y empuje
suavemente en cada
costado de la guía con
el pulgar y el índice para
aflojarla (Fig.1).
Repliegue la guía hacia
atrás y presiónela para
sujetarla en la parte
trasera del aparato (Fig.2).
• Oprima el botón de encendido ("Power On")
para encender el aparato.
• También puede usar la cortadora sin la guía
para obtener un corte al ras. Tenga presente
que el corte será muy corto.
IMPORTANTE: sin la guía, la longitud de corte
será por debajo de 0.4 mm, aunque el disco
indique otra longitud.
