Este aparato fue diseñado para uso profesional.
Úselo solamente con Corriente Alterna (50/60
hertzios). Los secadores estándares están dis-
eñados para funcionar con Corriente Alterna de
110 a 125 voltios.
Este aparato tiene un enchufe polarizado (un
polo es más ancho que otro). Como medida de
seguridad, se podrá enchufar de una sola manera
en la toma de corriente polarizada. Si no entra
por completo, inviértelo. Si aún no entra comple-
tamente, llame a un electricista calificado. No
intente vencer esta función de seguridad.
¿QUÉ HACER SI EL SECADOR CAE
AL AGUA ACCIDENTALMENTE?

1. Desconecte el aparato inmediatamente.
2. Saque el aparato del agua y llévelo a un centro
de servicio autorizado.

6. Nunca bloquee las aberturas de aire o coloque el
aparato en una superficie blanda, como una cama
o un sofá, donde se puedan obstruir. Mantenga las
aberturas libres de pelusas, cabellos y elementos
similares.
7. Nunca use este aparato mientras está dur-
miendo.
8. Nunca deje caer ni inserte un objeto en ninguna
de las aberturas o en el tubo de aire.
9. No lo utilice al aire libre, ni donde se están
usando productos en aerosol (spray) o donde se
está administrando oxígeno.
10. No utilice este aparato con una extensión
eléctrica.
11. No dirija el aire caliente hacia los ojos u otras
áreas sensibles al calor.
12. No utilice este aparato con un convertidor de
voltaje.
13. No utilice este aparato para secar una peluca
hecha de un material que se puede inflamar.
14. No utilice este aparato para secar una peluca
que ha sido limpiada con un limpiador combus-
tible, puesto que puede quedar producto sobre
la peluca.

ABRIR EL CASCO:
Coloque el casco en una
superficie llana y segura,
como una mesa. Gire
los botones ubicados en
ambos lados del casco
para abrirlo (Fig.1). Coja
el asa de transporte incor-
porada y levante el casco
para extender el pie (Fig.2). Nota: Lo alto del casco
es ajustable e incluye 5 ajustes para que usted
pueda escoger la posición que le parezca más
confortable. Una vez que el brazo está extendido,
incline el casco ligeramente hacia delante para
enganchar el cerrojo delantero, luego voltee la
parte externa del casco hacia abajo para sujetarlo
(Fig.3). ¡Su secador está listo!
Asegúrese que el aparato está apagado (OFF).
Enchufe el cable en una toma de corriente. Escoja
la temperatura y la velocidad deseada.

ESCOGER LA TEMPERATURA:
El ajuste de temperatura y de velocidad altas tiene
una velocidad de flujo de 1875 vatios, lo cual es
muy conveniente para secar el cabello muy húm-
edo. El ajuste de temperatura y de velocidad bajas
tiene una velocidad de flujo de 900 vatios, lo cual es
más suave y puede usarse con el cabello sintético.
Se puede cambiar el ajuste de alto a bajo durante
el secado.
CERRAR EL CASCO:
Apague el aparato (OFF) y déjelo enfriar. Voltee
la parte externa del casco hasta oír un clic para
regresarla en la posición de almacenamiento (Fig.4).
Coja el asa e incline el casco ligeramente hacia atrás.
Oprima el cerrojo delantero para aflojarlo y poder
bajar el pie y el casco. IMPORTANTE: Asegúrese de
aflojar cerrojo antes de bajar el pie y el casco. En el
caso contrario, podría dañar el aparato (Fig.5).
Baje el pie y el casco hacia base. Una vez que el
casco está posicionado en la base, gire los botones
ubicados en ambos lados del casco para cerrarlo.

This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is
wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug
will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug
does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it
still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do
not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
WHAT TO DO IF HAIR DRYER
ACCIDENTALLY FALLS IN WATER
PLEASE NOTE:
1. Be sure to unplug the hair dryer.
2. Remove from water. Once the appliance is
removed from water, it should be returned to a
Conair service center.
REMEMBER: Do not use the hair dryer after it
has fallen in the water until it has been serviced.

TO OPEN:
Set your dryer on a
stable surface, such as a table, to operate. Release
the two side latches by rotating them up. (See
Fig. 1). Grab the built-in handle in the top of the
bonnet and lift the bonnet until the arm is fully
extended. (Note that there are 5 positions in the
arm that allow you to raise the bonnet to the
height that is most convenient for you. If you
prefer less than the full height, you do not have
to extend the arm fully and can lock the arm in at
the first or second detent.) (See Fig. 2) Once arm

not pull, twist, or wrap line cord around dryer.
6. Never block the air openings of the appliance or
place it on a soft surface, such as a bed or couch,
where the air openings may be blocked. Keep the
air openings free of lint, hair, and the like.
7. Never use while sleeping.
8. Never drop or insert any object into any opening
or hose.
9. Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol
(spray) products are being used or where oxygen
is being administered.
10. Do not use an extension cord to operate dryer.
11. Do not direct hot air toward eyes or other
heat-sensitive areas.
12. Do not use with voltage converter.
13. Do not use this dryer to dry a wig made of
something that may burn easily.
14. Do not use this dryer to dry a wig that has
been cleaned using an inflammable cleaner, as
some of the product may still be on the wig.
15. Unfold the hood and extensions before plug-
ging in hair dryer. Do not operate while folded.

is extended, tilt the bonnet slightly to engage the
latch at top of the arm. Now rotate the outer part of
the bonnet downward until you hear it lock. (See
Fig. 3) Your dryer is ready for use!
Be
sure the power switch is in the "off" position. Plug
cord into a 120 volt electrical outlet. Switch to
either high or low setting.
TEMPERATURE SETTINGS:
The high heat and high speed setting is rated at
1875 watts and is useful for drying very wet hair.

Cord Storage
at 900 watts, is a gentle setting. The high setting
can be switched to low as your hair dries. The low
setting is also good for safely drying natural
and synthetic hair pieces.
TO CLOSE:
Let your dryer cool down after use. Then rotate the
lower portion of the bonnet dryer back up into its
storage position, until you can hear it lock. (See
Fig. 4) Now grab the built-in handle in the bonnet
and tilt the bonnet backward a little. Release the
inner latch on the arm by pushing down on on the
latch bar. (CAUTION: Make sure latch has been
released before trying to collapse arm and lid, to
prevent damage to your bonnet dryer.) (See Fig. 5)
Collapse the arm and lid onto the base by gently
pushing downward. Rotate the side latches back
into their locked position. You can now carefully
insert the cord back into the base until all of the
cord has been stored.
