Passive Balun
Located at the monitor end, the VA318 provides 12V DC
power over a single CAT 5 cable to a camera at distances
of up to 300m. The video output from the camera is fed
down the same CAT5 cable back to the monitor. Requires
a single VA316 at the camera end. The VA318 includes a
PSU which provides 12V DC and a maximum of 250ma for
the camera.
An active balun located at the monitor end which is used
in conjunction with a VA311 at the camera end to provide
CAT 5 video transmission over distances of between
300m and 1200m. The VA320 requires a separate 12V DC
P
SU.
The VA319 is a 1U 19" rack mount 16 way passive balun solution and provides a neat, power free solution for running up to 16 camera
feeds over CAT5 cables to a rack mounted DVR.
The VA319 is fully compatible with other baluns in the range and connections can be made either using RJ45 connectors or screw
terminals for maximum flexibility. Maximum transmission distance is 400m for colour signals and 600m for black & white signals.
