EXTERNAL DVD-RW FOR STORING DIGITAL PHOTOS IS AVAILABLE
MEDIAGEAR announces availability of external DVD-RW drive with built-in media
readers for easy duplication of digital photos.
SANTA ANA, Calif., Jan. 7, 2003 - mediaGear, Inc.
announces the availability of Flash-
HD and Flash-HD to Go, their latest innovative products of flash media readers, and
internal and external optical drives with built-in reader/writers.
Flash-DVD ($249.95) is a
DVD-RW combo drive with media reader slots that support all flash media including the
newest eXtreme Digital (xD) format. Flash-DVD supports USB 2.0 and 1.1 and there
are two USB ports on the back that serve as a USB Hub. Users can quickly store and
archive their photos by using the flash media reader ports to read any format of flash
memory and either ‘drag and drop’ data onto the Flash-DVD or the PC hard drive for
editing and then burn DVD’s on the Flash-DVD.
