POSSIBLE CAUSE
The USB port of computer is
damaged.
The USB cable is damaged.
Computer cannot detect the newly
installed driver
The driver did not install
successfully.
The computer is not powered on.
The Software is not installed on
the computer.
Software is not fully or correctly
installed on the computer.
The card may not be SD certified.
POSSIBLE SOLUTION
Replace or repair the USB port.
Replace the USB cable.
Update the driver in My Computer
> Properties > Hardware > Device
Manager.
Uninstall and re-install the driver.
Turn your computer on.
Disconnect the Mini-USB cable
from the camera and the computer.
Install the camera software and
drivers. (p.49)
Disconnect the Mini-USB cable
from the camera and the computer.
Uninstall the
software: click Start >Setting >
Control Panel > Add/ Remove
Programs. Re-install the camera
drivers. (See p.49)
Purchase a certified SD card.
Caution: Formatting erases all data
on the card. P.41
Insert a card into the card slot.

Take out the card and unlock.
Recharge the batteries to maximum
capacity (confirm the needed
duration of re-charge time
Fully charge/discharge the batteries
via normal operation for three to
four cycles
Clean the battery contacts and
battery polarities with alcohol and a
soft, dust-free, lint-free, clean cloth.
Avoid these kinds of unnecessary
operations.
SYMPTOM
Camera is not responding
during picture download to the

Cannot transfer pictures to the

Wizard cannot locate drivers.
