_ Please note IMPORTANT! • Please read the instructions carefully before using the CONCORD FUSION for the first time and retain them for future reference. Failure to comply with the guidelines set out below can put the child’s safety at risk! WARNING! • The CONCORD FUSION is suitable for children up to about 3 years of age and weighing not more than 15 kg. • The CONCORD FUSION is only suitable for children under 6 months in conjunction with approved Concord accessories.
_ ATTACHING AND REMOVING THE REAR wHEELS You must attach the rear wheels before using the CONCORD FUSION for the first time. First, remove the wheel cover. To do so, guide the axle through the hub from the inside of the wheel and push the cover off. Now press the two rings at the end of the axle together and pull the axle out of the hub. To attach the back wheel, press and hold the pushbutton as you push the wheel onto the CONCORD FUSION axle, and let it click audibly into place.
_ UNFOLDING THE CONCORD FUSION _ FOLDING THE CONCORD FUSION To unfold the CONCORD FUSION, first move the handle (01) into a straight position so that it snaps into position (see ADJUSTING THE HANDLE). Then release the transport locking device (17) by pressing it downwards. The CONCORD FUSION can now be unfolded like a collapsible chair until you hear an audible click.
_ Adjusting the handle _ Adjusting the footrest The handle can be adjusted to eight different positions. To do this, release the fastening mechanism by pressing the buttons on either side of the handle at the same time (11) and moving it to the next setting. You can adjust the footrest to four different positions. If you wish to lower the footrest, begin by pressing the release buttons on the left and righthand side (06). Then adjust the footrest to the next setting.
_ ADjUSTING THE bACKREST _ USING THE HOOD The backrest can be adjusted seamlessly from the upright position to the reclining position. To do this, pull the appropriate belt behind the backrest either upwards or downwards, as required. You can adjust the hood simply by moving it forwards or backwards. If you want to remove it completely, first loosen the cover of the hood by undoing the press-studs and zips. Then pull the hood adaptors (14) simultaFUSIONusly up along the rods.
_ Using the brake _ Locking the front wheels To lock the brake of CONCORD FUSION, press down the brake lever (18); press the brake lever upwards to release the brake. To lock the front wheels of the CONCORD FUSION, twist the locking button (09) into the horizontal position. The button snaps inwards and locks the wheel in a forward-pointing position. To release the locking device, pull out the locking button and twist it into the vertical position.
_ Using the adaptors (PROFIX system) Various elements can be attached to the CONCORD FUSION using the ProFix adaptors (05). 1. The safety bar (03) can simply be inserted in the adaptors. To remove it, press down the small push buttons (04) on both sides of the bar (on the inside) and pull it out of the adaptors. 2. Some Concord accessories, which are available in specialist shops, are fitted with adaptors suitable for the CONCORD FUSION, making it easy to attach them to the CONCORD FUSION.
_ USING THE HARNESSING SySTEM Take care that your child is always strapped in, with the buckle fastened, whenever you go out with the pushchair. Adjust the straps so that they are taut and lie close against the child. To adjust the strap length, slide the strap clasps up or down. Check that the straps are not twisted. Shoulder strap Waist strap Centre strap Feed the centre strap with the buckle between the child’s legs.
_ OPENING UP THE wIND SHIELD _ USING THE RAIN SHIELD To open up the wind shield of the CONCORD FUSION, undo the zip on the front of the safety bar. The wind shield is stowed away in the cover of the safety bar. Pull the wind shield down and over the footrest. To use the rain cover, pull it from the top to the bottom across the seat frame.
_ Guarantee _ CONCORD ORIGINAL SPARE PARTS/ACCESSORIES The guarantee begins on the day of purchase. The guarantee period corresponds to the statutory warranty period in the end-user’s country concerned. At the manufacturer’s discretion, the guarantee shall cover rectification, replacement or a price reduction.
