6.6 Fault elimination
Important! Most operational malfunctions are not caused by faulty equipment but rather by improper
installation or disregarding of planning guidelines. Therefore, a complete fault diagnosis always
involves a thorough examination of the entire system. Often, the steam hose connection has not been
properly executed, or the fault lies with the humidity control system.

Fatal malfunction
If the yellow or red LED lights/blinks, press drain/info key (at least 3 seconds) until yellow (“Warn-
ing”) or red (“Error”) LED starts blinking intermittently. The amount of “blinks” per interval indicates
the type of malfunction.
– Yellow LED “Warning” blinks intermittently
A malfunction is present. The humidifier control checks whether there is a temporary problem (e.g.
water supply interrupted for a short time) or whether it can resolve the problem by taking necessary
measures. Such malfunctions set the unit into the “fault elimination status”.
