BASKET FOR SYSTEM 1200 SMOKE EVACUATION SYSTEM

• Disconnect power to the electrosurgical unit (ESU).

• Disconnect all accessories from the ESU. Remove all items from baskets in mobile pedestal.

• Using a large, flat screwdriver, remove 3 screws securing the bottom basket. Remove the

washers and clamps, setting all items aside for reuse.

• Remove the bottom basket.

• Place the System 1200 Smoke Evacuation System basket on bottom shelf of pedestal. As

viewed from the back of the pedestal, the larger basket should be on the left side. Slide the

basket as far forward as possible.

• Secure the System 1200 Smoke Evacuation System basket in the reverse order of removing

the original basket, using the hardware removed previously. Replacement hardware is

provided if needed. Tighten securely.

• The rack on the right side of the basket is for the monopolar footswitch. The basket on the

right side is for other accessories. The large, middle portion of the basket is for the System

1200 Smoke Evacuation unit.

• Re-install the accessories to the ESU. Be sure to engage all connectors securely and position

all items to prevent damage or loss.
