Technology objects
In S7T Config, you configure the technology objects used to control the conveyor
drive and the target sensor. Technology objects used in this example:

• Positioning axis (conveyor)
• Measuring sensor (target
sensor)
Technology functions
The task is solved in the user program by calling the following technology functions
at the FBs:
Technology function Task / description
1. MC_Power Enable axis
2. MC_MeasuringInput Enabling and configuring the measuring sensor (target
sensor)
3. MC_MoveVelocity Moving the axis at a preset velocity
4. MC_Home After the target sensor is detected, the position value is
corrected (actual position value - position of the target
sensor). This assigns the position a zero value at the time the
target sensor is detected.
5. MC_MoveAbsolute Moving the axis to the absolute position of 500 mm.
