The Phonak ComPilot is a fantastic stereo wireless bridge between your hearing aids
and entertainment & communication devices.
As hearing aid technology continues to move forward in leaps and bounds, hearing aid companies
will develop better ways of feeding sound into their aids. In recent years, they have started to build
wireless technology into many of the newer Phonak hearing aids and the latest cochlear implant
processor from Advanced Bionics ‒
see panel for list of currently compatible hearing instruments.
One of the cleverest applications of this technology is the ComPilot and
TVLink S system. You simply wear the ComPilot around your neck and it
will allow you to wirelessly connect into:
The ComPilot features full stereo
sound, audio streaming, radio aid
connectivity and Bluetooth.
It provides unlimited wireless
connection to entertainment
and communication devices.
With the Phonak TVLink S, it is
easy to connect a Phonak
ComPilot to the TV wirelessly.
The TVLink S gives very fast
StereoSound streaming from the
TV to the ComPilot with a range
of up to 30m.
Also available is the RemoteMic wireless microphone which is great for a one-to-
one conversation in a noisy environment such as a car or a supermarket.
The ComPilot, TV Link S and RemoteMic can be purchased separately, or in a bundle
ready paired with the ComPilot.

Phonak ComPilot
The ComPilot is a bridge between your hearing instruments and audio
devices. Worn around the neck, it features full stereo sound, voice alerts,
Bluetooth audio streaming and FM connectivity.
ComPilot is also compatible with Phonak’s range of ear level receivers via the
standard Europlug input ‒ for more information about these, please see
Section 1b.
ComPilot receives Bluetooth signals from a mobile phone, wirelessly
streaming them to your hearing instruments, leaving your hands free, just like
a Bluetooth headset. With ComPilot, you can take or end a call with the push
of a single button. ComPilot also streams your voice back to the mobile
phone, for effortless mobile phone use.
You can concurrently connect up to 8 audio devices to your ComPilot. The audio sources are
automatically prioritised.

Please note ‒ the ComPilot is easy-to-use for audio streaming, straight out of the box. However for the remote control
feature to work, the ComPilot needs to be set up with your hearing instrument by your audiologist, hearing aid
dispenser or implant centre ‒ if you wish to use the volume control feature please check that they are happy to
programme the unit for you.
