4. Explanation of Icons

The lightning bolt icon in a triangle is used to alert you to potential personal injury hazards such as

electric shock.

An exclamation mark in a triangle indicates important instructions in this operating manual which must

be observed.



The "hand" icon indicates special tips and notes on the operation of the device.

5. Features and Functions

a) Weather Station

• Radio-controlled DCF time/date display, manual setting possible

• 12/24 hr time format

• 6 languages can be selected for displaying the day of the week

• Display of the indoor temperature/humidity

• Display of the outdoor temperature/humidity (reception of up to 5 outdoor sensors possible)

• Temperature display in Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F, selectable)

• Min/max memory for indoor/outdoor temperature and indoor/outdoor humidity

• Weather forecast for the next 12-24 hours

• Trend display for barometric pressure, indoor/outdoor temperature, indoor/outdoor humidity

• History display (can be switched to barometric pressure, indoor temperature/indoor humidity, outdoor temperature/

humidity)

• Moon phase display (also display of moon phases for the past or next 39 days)

• Alarm functions for wind speed, rain amount, outdoor temperature, thunderstorms

• Alarm clock function with pre-alarm (for low outdoor temperatures)

• Display of the sunrise/sunset times for many towns

• "Battery empty" display for the weather station and all sensors

• Installation on a table or mounting on a wall

• Operation through four AA/mignon batteries or an external mains adapter

• USB jack for the connection to a computer, incl. software for data display

• Operation in dry indoor locations (weather station/power pack unit must not get damp or wet!)

• Background lighting of LC display
