Fault Possible cause Remedial action
The refrigerating unit
is switching on more
frequently and for longer.
Appliance opened
frequently.
Do not open the appliance unnecessarily.
The ventilation openings
have been covered.
Remove obstacles.
Appliance has no
refrigeration capacity.
The light does not work.
The display does not
illuminate.
Appliance has been switched
off.
Press the On/Off button.
Power failure. Check whether the power is on.
The fuse has been switched
off.
Check the fuse.
The mains plug has not been
inserted properly.
Check whether the mains plug is secure.
The “cool-fresh”
compartment is too warm or
too cold.
The standard setting has
been set too high or too low
(e.g. if there is frost
in the “cool-fresh”
compartment).
The temperature in the “cool-fresh”
compartment can be set to be 3 steps warmer
and/or colder, Fig. ". If the temperature in the
refrigerator compartment is set to 0, the
temperature in the “cool-fresh” compartment
is almost 0 °C.
Note
A change to the standard setting will affect the
temperature in the refrigerator compartment
and freezer compartment.
1. Hold down “super” button 2 for 3 seconds
until temperature display 4 flashes.
2. Change the setting using the temperature
setting button 3.
Setting -3 corresponds to the coldest
setting
Setting +3 corresponds to the warmest
setting
The selected setting is saved after one
minute.
Temperature display
indicates “E..”.
Electronics have detected
a fault.
Call customer service.
Appliance is not cooling,
temperature display and light
are lit.
Showroom mode is
switched on.
Hold down alarm button, Fig "/5, for
10 seconds until an acknowledgement signal
sounds.
After a short time check whether your
appliance is cooling.
