Using Additional Custom Options
Additional custom options are available for your Control4 system.
These include Announcement agents and programmable buttons. Ask
your Control4 Installer to set up any options that interest you.
Announcement Agents
The Announcement agent displays a textual message on your
Navigators, or plays a sound clip.
The Announcement agent can notify you when someone rings your
doorbell, or use the Announcement agent to let your family know that
dinner is ready when you press a button on the lighting Keypad.
Customizeable Buttons
Many of the devices in your project, including Touch Screens and
System Remote Controls, have programmable buttons. Your Control4
Installer can set these buttons to activate a Lighting Scene, turn on a
playlist, adjust the house temperature, or send out an Announcement,
among other automated functions. Ask your Control4 Dealer or
Installer about some of the settings they can configure for you.
