• Using the Rubber Ring
Please check the rubber ring before using. Check for any dirt, grains of sand, hair, dust, salt, thread scraps
in the rubber ring and wipe off with a soft cloth or tissue paper.
Apply a coat of grease onto the rubber ring
Apply a small drop of grease onto the rubber ring and evenly coat the entire surface of the rubber ring with the end of
your nger.
Do not use paper or cloth as bre may stick to the rubber ring.
Apply a thin and coating grease to the surface of the rubber ring, while grease can protect the rubber ring, also prevent
water.
Set the rubber ring immediately after you have applied a small drop of grease onto the rubber ring. Remember not to
leave the greased rubber ring on a desk or other surfaces.
Place the rubber ring in the groove
Place the rubber ring evenly in its groove after applying a coat of grease. Please do not pull the rubber ring,
make sure there is no dirt on the rubber ring, and the rubber ring is not protruding, twisted.
NOTE:
Please take a spare rubber ring with you. This enables you to replace when trouble occurs.
• Assemble Waterproof Case
1. Place the AQ 1300 into the waterproof case as illustrated in Diagram 1.
2. Secure lock as seen on Diagram 2.

To turn on the camera, press and hold the Power button until the Operation LED turns red.

Frame your subject using the camera viewfinder or underwater viewfinder.
5. Press the Shutter button to take a picture. Hold the camera steady. A sound is made when the picture has
been taken. The LCD will show a number, indicating the number of pictures can take by the camera.
