Blink Proof
The camera automatically releases the shutter twice each time a picture is taken.
Of the two shots, one in which the subject’s eyes are open is saved.
The current blink proof setting is indicated by an icon when shooting (A6). No
icon is displayed when Off is selected.
On the smart portrait mode screen M d button M Blink proof
Option Description
y On
Enables blink warning.
Flash cannot be used when
On is selected.
If the camera saved an image
in which the subject’s eyes
may have been closed, the
dialog shown on the right is
displayed for a few seconds.
k Off (default setting) Turns the blink warning off.
A blink was detected in the
picture just taken.
