Basic Photography and Playback: G Easy Auto Mode
Step 1 Turn the Camera On and Select
G
(Easy Auto) Mode
In G (easy auto) mode, the camera automatically determines an appropriate
shooting mode when you frame a picture, allowing you to easily take pictures
using a shooting mode that suits the scene (A 31).
1 Press the power switch.
The lens extends and the monitor turns on.
Easy auto mode is set at the time of purchase. Proceed to
step 4.
2 Press the A button.
3 Press the multi selector H or
I to choose G Easy auto
mode and press the k
button.
The camera enters G (easy auto)
mode.
4 Check the battery level and the number of
exposures remaining.

The number of pictures that can be taken is displayed.
The number of exposures remaining depends on the capacity of the internal memory or
memory card and image mode setting (A 49).
