Charging While Connecting to a Computer

VVhen connecting tile camera to a computer via tile supplied USB cable while

Auto (default setting) is selected for the Charge by computer option (I]_ 140)in

the setup menu, the battery inserted into the camera is automatically charged

using power supplied by tile computer.

Camera to a Computer" ([_ 113) for more information on connecting tile camera

to a computer.

The following chart explains charge lamp status when the camera isconnected to

a computer.

• Operating temperature range exceeded. Charge the

battery indoors with an ambient temperature of 5 °C to

35 °C (41 °F to 95 °F) before use.

• A USBcable is not correctly connected or the battery is

faulty. Reconnect the USBcable correctly or replace the

battery.

• Computer is in sleep mode and does not supply power.

Reboot a computer.

• The battery cannot be charged as computer's

specifications or setting does not support power supply

to the camera.
