Adjust the following sound settings.
Button Sound
Select On (default setting) or Off.
When On is selected, a beep will sound once when operations are completed
successfully, twice when the camera acquires focus on the subject, and three times
when an error isdetected. Start up sound will also play when the camera is turned on.
Shutter sound
Select On (default setting) or Off.
No sound is played with shutter release when some features such as continuous
shooting or BSS(best shot selector) are enabled, or when recording movies, even if
On is selected.
Auto Off

When the camera is on and a specified period of time passes with no operations
performed, the monitor turns off and the camera will enter standby mode ([_[_ 17)
to save power. Once the camera has entered standby mode, the power on lamp
will blink, and if no operations are performed for another three minutes, the
camera will turn off.
Choose tile time allowed to elapse before tile camera enters standby mode if no
operations are performed from 30 s, 1 rain (default setting), S rain, and 30 rain

Cancel standby mode and reactivate the monitor by pressing any of the _llowing buttons.

The time allowed to elapse he.re the camera enters standby mode is fixed in the _llowing
situations:
• When a menu is displayed: three minutes
• During slide show playback: up to 30 minutes
• When the AC adapter EH 62D is connected: 30 minutes
