6.2.2: Digital Output Functions 
Copley drives can have either opto-isolated or non opto-isolated digital outputs, or both. 
Opto-isolated digital output states are said to be On or Off. All others are said to be Hi or 
Low. 
The output functions are described below. 
Output Function 
Description 
Not Configured 
No function. Output remains Hi/Off. 
Fault Active Hi/Off 
Output goes Hi/Off when one or more faults are detected.

Fault-Active Lo/On 
Output goes Lo/On when one or more faults are detected. See Faults 
(p. 87). 
Brake-Active Hi/Off 
Output goes Hi/Off to activate the brake.

Brake-Active Lo/On 
Output goes Lo/On to activate the brake.

PWM Sync Output (OUT1 only) 
The PWM synchronization output.
