You can add a drop cap (left) or a hanging indent drop cap (right).
You can preview a drop cap before you add it to a drawing. The changes you make are temporarily applied to the text in the drawing
window, so you can see how the drop cap will look when you add it.
To add a drop cap

Using the Text tool , select the paragraph text.
If the Property manager docker is not open, click Window Property manager.

In the Property manager docker, click the Paragraph button to display the paragraph-related options.

In the Paragraph area of the Property manager docker, click the arrow button located at the bottom of Paragraph area to display
additional options.
4 Enable the Drop caps check box.

Click the Drop caps settings button .
6 In the Drop cap dialog box, perform a task from the following table.
To Do
Specify the number of lines next to a drop cap In the Appearance area, type a value in the Number of lines
dropped box.
Set the distance between the drop cap and the body of text In the Appearance area, type a value in the Space after drop cap
box.
This sets the space to the right of the drop cap.
Preview a drop cap Enable the Preview check box.
Offset the drop cap from the body of text Enable the Use hanging indent style for drop cap check box.
Remove drop caps In the Paragraph area of the Property manager docker, disable the
Drop caps check box.
Changing character position and angle
You can modify the appearance of text by shifting the characters vertically or horizontally, which changes the position of the selected
characters relative to the surrounding characters.
You can also rotate characters by specifying an angle of rotation.
