LCD Display Installation

First install the display portion of Cintiq. Do not connect the USB or RS-232C connector until you procede to the

Turn off your computer.

Connect the DVI-I connector to your computer. Check the video connector type of your computer and use the adap-

tor as necessary.

Set the

Analog/Digital

(VGA/DVI) switch located on the back of Cintiq for the video connection you are using.

Move the switch toward the MENU buttons for

Digital

(DVI-I, DVI-D, or ADC), and move it to the left toward the

Cintiq edge for

Analog

(VGA).

Plug the DC Power connector into the AC adaptor.

Plug the AC adaptor power cable in to the AC adaptor and an AC outlet.

Turn on the Cintiq power switch. The power lamp will light green, and then turns orange.

For Apple ADC connector

This product is for use with a DVI or VGA video card; using an inappropriate video card may damage Cintiq.

Also, Be sure to set the DVI/VGA switch properly.

Do not connect or disconnect the video or power cables while Cintiq or your computer are turned on; this may

damage the LCD display or computer video card. If you are using an adaptor to the Cintiq DVI-I connector, the

adaptor must ﬁrmly be attached to your computer ﬁrst.
